I am so, so bad at remembering to do this every week so I guess it needs to be re-named. After this post it'll now be known as - What's Happening? Each post we'll update you on books, reviews, general posts and whatever else has happened since the last time! If there's an (L) it means it's a loan from the library :)

What a combination! Quite incredible the books you got, especially the complete works of Oscar Wilde and the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen. You're really piling up on quite a flashy hodge-podge of books!
The fairytales aren't actually by Anderson - they're like modern day spins as far as I can tell! Looking forward to reading them though. - Caragh
There are plenty of collections of that caliber in which authors recreate earlier works. Ellen Datlow, the editor behind "Year's Best Horror," came up with a collection of stories that were all inspired by works of Edgar Allan Poe. This should be a good read!
